June was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA and her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from Cal State LA. She worked for 38 years with the State Department of Rehabilitation as a Counselor, Supervisor and lastly as an Administrator for the Orange San Gabriel district overseeing counseling services for the disabled in the second largest district in the state. June and Jeff have 3 children, 2 Grandchildren and another due in January 2025. They’ve been members of ALCRPV for almost 20 years. June has led the Joy Sisters for 15 years and has taught Bible studies for 25 years at Ascension and other churches. June is currently the Council President at Ascension and has been on the council since 2016. June loves studying the Bible, teaching Bible studies, cooking, traveling, and being with family and friends.
