Cathy grew up in the City of Torrance and currently lives in Orange County. She and her husband Scott have been married for 30+ years. They have one daughter, Kayla, who many of you know— she served with Campus Outreach Ministries at High Point University in North Carolina and was one of many recipients of the Ascension mission basket. After forty years of service, Cathy retired in 2020 as a claims manager for the Automobile Club (AAA). She began attending Ascension and joined the Joy Sisters Bible Study in 2017. Cathy has expressed that Ascension has been such a blessing to her family. She is honored to serve on the Council and is looking forward to being able to give back to her church community for the many blessings her family has received. Cathy enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her two sisters and their families.
