Andrea grew up in Torrance, and her professional résumé is perhaps best described as “a surprisingly useful collection of random skills.” She has worked in ministry, created content for Christian television, twisted balloon animals, edited wedding videos, and even spent some time as a lifeguard and swim teacher. Most recently, she volunteered in an elementary school library, where she eventually found herself coordinating a small army of volunteers.
Somewhere along the way, Andrea discovered that the common thread through all of those jobs is that she really enjoys creating things, communicating ideas, and helping people connect. She is excited to bring those skills to her role as Communications and Ministry Coordinator - where storytelling, creativity, organization, ministry, and the occasional “How did I end up doing this?” moment can all coexist.
When she isn't working, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She is also a fan of volunteering, trying new things, and collecting oddly specific skills that may or may not come in handy someday.
She is pretty sure there is a reason she once learned to drive a houseboat and a ski boat. She just hasn't figured out what it is yet.
