 romises surrounding these holy days and discover connections that can deep
 en our understanding of both the Old and New Testaments.\nThis special tea
 ching will be incorporated into both Sunday worship services\, so no separ
 ate registration is necessary. Whether you've studied the Jewish roots of 
 Christianity before or this is completely new to you\, you're welcome to j
 oin us.\n \n \n\n\n*About the speaker: A native of the San Fernando Vall
 ey\, Michael Cohen was raised in a conservative Jewish home. Through a ser
 ies of unlikely circumstances\, he met a young Jewish believer named Lisa.
  He was curious about her faith\, and after reading a copy of the New Test
 ament she had given him\, he accepted the Lord. Michael has served as a de
 acon\, elder\, and teacher in a Messianic congregation. Together with his 
 wife\, Lisa\, Michael remains in the Los Angeles area and serves as a miss
 ionary with Chosen People Ministries. He also serves in the children’s p
 rogram at his local messianic congregation\, discipling both Jewish seeker
 s and new Jewish believers\, and communicating the gospel to the interfait
 h community through specifically sensitive outreach.
